Welcome Letter

Dear students and scholars:    

On behalf of the Harvard Chinese Students and Scholars Association (HCSSA), we would like to welcome you to Harvard and invite you to become a member of our organization. HCSSA is a student group dedicated to promoting intellectual, social and cultural activities for Chinese students and scholars at Harvard University as well as members of the Harvard community. It also strives to facilitate and enhance communications and interactions between Chinese and American students and scholars at Harvard.

Our members boast a wide representation from all schools at Harvard: the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences, Harvard College, Harvard Kennedy School, Harvard Business School, Harvard Law School, Harvard Medical School, Harvard School of Public Health, Harvard School of Dental Medicine, the Graduate School of Design, the Graduate School of Education, as well as Harvard Divinity School.

HCSSA hosts regular intellectual, social, and career events throughout the year, ranging from venture capital seminars to alumni networking events, from the new student welcome party to the New England foliage trip. The two most popular annual events are the Mid-Autumn performance and the Chinese New Year performance, which attract a large audience not only from Harvard but also from the Greater Boston area.
